The Genesis


How did it began ? The genesis of this professional service website launch has a small little story we would like to share. It has its genesis in a small unfortunate incident. One of the previous employers of mine, all of a sudden within 10 minutes showed me the door after my loyal, honest and dedicated service to their project.

Subsequently, I started scouting every possible door for another opportunity. During this process, I interacted with several (lost the count) recruitment agencies/companies and Human Resources departments of several companies both MNC’s and Indian companies. My experience with most of the recruiting agencies was very frustrating. Whenever I applied against a relevant posting or the agency contacted me based on my resume posted on the careers sites, as all they would say is - send us your updated resume and we would come back to you soon. However, I never received a call or any feedback from most of them. It seemed as just a database creation exercise. During my direct interaction with HR professionals, I could conclude that nearly all of them get their recruitment needs through agencies which unfortunately do not even understand their clients requirement (forget all the pep marketing talks). Based on my interaction with agencies and recruiting companies, I concluded that during this time of fast growing requirements, there hardly are any agencies who understand their client requirements. While clients have to shell out a huge amount of money even at initial stages, most of the times they end up doing the preliminary scrutiny. Also, clients HR departments have to spend significant transaction times shuttling CVs between agencies and the functional departments. Also, from candidate’s perspective, agencies are hardly more than clerks who forward their CV’s to companies.

So here lies an business opportunity , fed up with the existing situation  I decided to take upon myself to provide both the hiring companies and candidates some reprieve with services differently from every other agency. Hence, this site was launched to provide resourcing services.
